Karina T'shaana was born in 1755 to an Asari, Virola T'shaana & Aeliena Vesna, a Turian careerwoman. Her wife, another Asari, Luscinda, was born to an Asari and Volus parent. Aeliena died of old age, and Virola, at the time married to Shi'roana, was killed in 2000 EST during a routine patrol in the Skyllian Verge.
Karina was raised in a somewhat strict household with her Asari father and Turian mother, who, while a loving household, was very strict in her upbringing. Her maiden period was incredibly wild at times, doing things not limited to piracy, orgies, drugs, and alcohol. At the tailend, Karina re-joined the work force.
