Born on the Citadel to Hannah and Nathan Shepard, two N7 graduates in late 2157. Nathan was KIA in the First Contact War. Hannah re-married to an Asari matron, ex-Major Shi'Roana T'Leana, when he was three years old. At 18 he marries his long-time boyfriend, Lance Quinlan Espinoza-Figueroa. He applies to the Alliance at 18 to pursue a career in medicine and engineering, however he was roped into combat training due to his leadership skills. During Shore Leave on Elysium, Batarian slavers attempted to enslave the colony. Vincent was one of the main soldiers defending the colony from attacks, and helping with medical treatments afterwards. His husband was KIA during the Skyllian Blitz in 2176. He was awarded the Star of Terra and was enrolled in the N7 Programme shortly thereafter. He excels and is promoted to Lieutenant Commander and Executive Officer of the Normandy in 2183.
During the Events of ME1:

2157 *(BIRTH)* Born on the Citadel to Hannah Shepard, August 25th. 2157 *(FIRST CONTACT WAR)* Mid-September, the First Contact War, also known as the Relay 314 incident, occurs. Nathan Shepard is KIA. 2159 *2 Y/O* Shi'roana and Hannah start dating. 2160 *3 Y/O* Shi'roana and Hannah Shepard marry, Vincent gains two step-sisters, Lulla & Karina. 2168 *11 Y/O* During an accident, Shepard is exposed to Eezo exposure. He is not able to use these powers until he receives an implant during the Lazarus Project in ME2. 2174 *17 Y/O* Vincent joins the Alliance at 17. Vincent and Lance marry at a quiet ceremony when Vince turns 18. 2176 *19 Y/O* The Skyllian Blitz occurs. Lance Quinlan Espinoza-Figueroa is KIA. He's awarded a Star of Terra, and an application to the N7 program. (Non-Canon run: Lance escapes with his life). 2178 *20 Y/O* Vince completes N7 training. 2183 *26 Y/O* Vince becomes the XO of the Normandy. The events of Mass Effect 1 take place. 2183 *26 Y/O* Vince and 20 other crewmembers are killed following a Collector attack on Alchera. **2185** *28-29 Y/O* The Events of Mass Effect 2 occur. Vince is fitted with cybernetics that begin to fail in places, and his latent biotics are uncovered. Samara teaches him how to hold a protective barrier, but otherwise they go unused. **2186** *29 Y/O* The events of the Arrival DLC occur, the Bahak system is destroyed in April of 2186. Vincent then turns himself in to the Alliance to be court-marshalled. The Crew of the Normandy SR-2 return to their respective homes. **2186** *29-30 Y/O* The events of Mass Effect 3 take place (-November). Vincent Shepard destroys the Reapers on November 7th, 2186. He is found under the wreckage early November 9th. November 10th, Shi'roana and Miranda Lawson begin to treat his wounds. **2187** *30 Y/O* Early January Vincent wakes from his medically-induced coma. **2187** *30 Y/O* Early March, his mother Hannah, as well as his two step-sisters, Lulla and Karina, return to Earth. There is no word from the Normandy. Isadore Shepard is born late March. Vincent is moved out of the hospital and in with his family on earth. **2187** *31 Y/O* The Normandy returns on November 7th, the anniversary of the Reapers demise. Kaidan Alenko moves into the Shepard-T'leana household for the time being. **2188** *31 Y/O* Kaidan Alenko and Vincent Shepard return to active duty as Council Spectres.This is a third-width section.
